As we age it is important to continue to build strength in order to tone your arms. You can use your own body weight to tone your arms with planks, triceps dip and pushups. The following exercises can be done in the comfort of your own home to build muscle.
Push-ups (can be done on your knees or in full plank position)
Triceps dips (with bent knees or straight legs)
Shoulder press (add a hand weight of 5 to 10 lbs.)
Bicep curl (add a hand weight of 5 to 10 lbs.)
Plank (on your elbows or hands)
Perform each exercise for a total of 10 to 12 repetitions, move on to the next exercise and repeat 3 times through.
